We live in a time when information is readily available at our fingertips. Of course, it has its perks but in regards to food and health, the surplus of information makes it difficult to decipher what is "right versus wrong" or "good versus bad." We're introduced to new "it" foods, diets and exercises on the daily and where has that left us? Confused, frustrated, deflated and at times even further away from our goals.

In the beginning of my career as a nutritional consultant, I realized nearly 100% of my clients were experiencing these emotions - it was a consistent theme and one I could not ignore. Without exploring their relationship with food at some point during our work together, I was just another nutritionist advising them on the foods to eat and avoid. This was solidified even more when I realized my own healing truly began when I approached and changed my relationship with food!

And so, Wiser Eating was created - a beginner online course to help you approach your relationship to food in a curious and compassionate way. Throughout the course, you’ll learn how to explore your relationship with food - the emotions, behaviors and thoughts - using tools that focus on mindfulness and ways to replace judgement with curiosity. My clients have found approaching emotions, behaviors and thoughts in a curious way takes the pressure off and in time they’re more in tune with their brain and body. It's at this point when you begin to not only achieve your goals but also develop a different approach to you health.

When your relationship with food becomes more mindful, conscious and practical you will be able to listen to and trust the cues your body is giving you. When this happens, change happens.
